Hidden Feelings

Nobody knows the way I feel.
He’s the best thing ever.
I feel hooked on him.
His sweet voice and face.
It’s like bait, reeling my in.
When he’s away, I think about him.
When I sleep, I dream of him.
But it’s all hidden.
My friends don’t know, he doesn’t know,
I’m alone in knowing.
I can’t tell him.
Our friendship would be ruined.
Yet I want him so much.
He’s like an addictive drug.
I just can’t get enough.
Of his voice and his touch.
Of everything about him.
But I know it will never be.
Know he will never know.
Tell him and lose him.
Or stay with him in silence.
Silence I choose.
Anything to be with him.
Friends are all we can be.
Yet to see him and hear him,
To have his attention,
It’s worth it.
My feelings will stay hidden.
Hidden inside of me.
Never to be told.
Forever.

Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game

Dear Lindsay, I love the way you wrote this poem. It explains all your emotions, but don't be afraid to go for it, never know he just might feel the same way
