Food
The mouthwatering temptations
The nose inching smell
The deliquitate taste
The eye deciphering varieties
Which one will I choose?
It travels all across the globe
Hopping from country to city
To state to town
It just cannot be strapped down
In different environments you may find thee
From a freezer to my refrigerator door
Or dished out on fine china with a fork
It likes to be dressed to show its personality
Maybe with ketchup, barbecue sauce, honey mustard or ranch
Each one opens a door to a whole other world
It likes to be cleaned
Maybe fried, baked
Boiled or grilled
But whatever you choose
Believe in your choice
Because believe in me
Food is what makes the world go ‘round

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this poem because c'mon, who doesn't like food. I know i love food, and the fact that it comes in all different shapes and tastes, makes it that much better.
