Lie or Not?

Have you ever told a lie? Do not deny.
The truth may make certain people cry.
Our children's faces, as bright as the sun,
Our truth will make their faces dun.
I cannot bear to see those faces,
Everywhere I look, in all those places.
I cannot help it, I have to lie.
Hopefully it will make those tears become dry.
