Hate Swirling

With all this hate swirling around
This world is flipping upside down
Words escape that shouldn’t be said
Race wars start that should be dead
But how can you all say
Those words don’t mean anything in this day
Saying this and saying that
Words said so often don’t mean crap
But if these words aren’t worth a dime
How you can you say I love you one more time?
If one word’s empty so are they all
There goes language, watch it fall
And if no one can take offense,
Then where’s the peace, eternal happiness?
And if the power is all gone
How can we carry on?
All this love and all this hate
It’s going to shine, never fade
If actions are all we have left
There's the world, one bloody mess.
How can you tell a story?
How can you say I’m sorry?
Words are lost, we can’t deny
So here ends this wordless, useless rhyme.
