If you were a poem

If you were a poem,
You would be delicately subduing,
With a faint, flawless aroma;
One that obliterates aversion.

Like a cataclysm
Striking into a void,
You breathe emotions to the dark sky.

If you were a poem,
I would seize your passion,
Embrace your heart

Like an open field
Like a vestal canvas.

Like a lighting bolt
You would strike into me,
Making me feel every cell of my body
But would your radiance blind me
Or enlighten me?

If you were a poem,
I would keep you in my heart,
I would remember every verse
And make every word my own

If only your lines were mine
I would love you forever

If only you were poem…
