My Wrestling Glory
The day before the moment
Slimmed down to a tee
I couldn’t eat or drink
I didn’t look like me
This all a sacrifice
To go out and win
Or try and reach the podium
A place that I’ve never been
There were worthy opponents
Some could shrewdly beat me
What happens I wouldn’t expect
But everyone got to see
The first one was quick
The first step of the climb
I won my first match at state
But it wouldn’t be the last time
The next one was tougher
But once again I was on top
But so did Hertica
No one could tell him stop
The very next day
I had two more
These two matches
Would be quite a chore
This first one was close
I got put on my back
But I came out on top
And was a placer in fact
Hertica won too and
Next he had me
Everyone said this next match
Was suppose to be his glory
The first period was nothing
The second one like that too
But the third was different
Nobody had a clue
I put him on his back
And I thought he was done
But he got up quick
So now it was 2 to 1
A kid so good
I made him look like a clown
A kid that was suppose to beat me
I got a final takedown
I won the match
A huge win for me
I finally accomplished
My Wrestling Glory
