As I watch you lay there and sleep
I seem to miserably and Painfully weep.
I sit here and don't know what to think
Im staring so hard I can't even blink.
All I can remember is getting a phone call
now Im standing here knowing nothing at all.
Your body is here but your soul is gone
I still can't figure out what went wrong.
As I stand here things are running through my mind
everything happened so fast,how could I have been so blind.
Now I realize what is happening to me
I just lost my mom for eternity.
Now I find myself standing over you
I kiss you on your cheek, because I want to.
That will be the last one she will ever get
until I go to heaven and can't wait to sit.
Then we will never say Good-bye
Finally I will not ever have to cry.
Then we can be like we used to be
a very happy family.
I find myself standing back here
pulling my self to hold you near.
I'll do what I have to do and walk away
Because I know I will Get to see my beautiful mother someday!!
