She debates it every day
She wonders “is it really worth it to live this way?”
At nights she dreads the days of school
And all the kids sho thing her a fool.

Tears fall as they call her names
No one friendly enough to include her in games,
At home her dad hits her down
And tells her to change with an evil frown.

Month after month and day after day
She tries so hard to change her way,
Scarred by the words of her peers
She sadly lives out her lonely years.

But the names get harsher
And the words just scar her,
As she cries in the night
She waits for a light,

And searches for her savior.
