The Eleventh Hour

The clock strikes one then two,
The eleventh hour starts anew,
The brigade stages a coup,
One by one, two by two,
Left in silence,
Blood streaked violence,
The tears fall quiet,
The lover's riot,
The hurting mother asking why it,
Had to be her's
Hatred's curse,
Left alone,
To atone,
She waits by the phone,
Innocents stoned,
Left with all you've ever known,
As the clock strikes one then two,
The eleventh hour begins anew
And the morning dew,
Hides the tears
Hides the fears,
As the eleventh hour draws near.
