Wonderful Girl

I once saw this girl in school.
She took my breath away
She was perfect, pure and simple,
I didn’t know what to say
Was she a heaven’s angel?
Or merely a wondrous miracle?
For surely, she is the most divine thing
Since Delphi’s Oracle.
I wanted to talk to her,
But I waited too long.
And now when I wait for her,
I find that she is gone.
So, will you help me out?
My heart is on the line.
Please tell me the next time that you see
This wonderful girl of mine.
