More Than Myself
In this mirror she sees a small face. With a look of sadness and disgrace. These eyes are as blue as the sky, and behind them they hold some truth and some lies. These eyes have such a great story to tell. A story of how a closed heart tripped and fell. Not from the branches of a large tree, or from a plane where the falling is free. Not even a building 100 feet tall, for she would not see this reflection at all. These eyes fell deeply in love. Understand? And no it was not over a man. Sure she never felt this way before, but it's not of the opposite sex she adores. Why, do you think, this mirror was taken off the self? She whispers softly.... " I love more than myself."
