Sunset
We met when the sun was rising,
Your beautiful face illuminated my life.
Your sweet words made me ebullient,
Your soft touch melted me.
But now the sun is setting,
Your rough look is diluting my life.
Your cold words make me lethargic,
Your coarse touch is freezing me.
My eyes shed their last tear as they glare at the sunset,
and my heart releases its last sigh
as it wishes for the sun to take your choleric presence with him.
