My Last Will and Testament
...being of sound mind and body...
I leave behind my hard work and dedication
to the success, accomplishments, and recognition I never received.
The goals and dreams that never came true,
The false hope that left me feeling deceived.
I leave behind my innocence
to everything else that is stolen.
I leave behind my trust and heart
to all else that has been broken.
I leave behind my smile to my parents,
Sorry for the times I had to pretend to be okay.
Please don't blame yourselves,
Maybe you could've helped, but I just couldn't stay.
Lying in my casket,
I'm gone beyond repair.
No one noticed me before,
but now all they do is stare.
