Concert Zoo
The brisk night breeze makes the animals of the concert frisky,
Like leaping monkeys whipping their bodies back and forth, back and forth.
The cops hover over the intoxicated animals like park rangers waiting to tranquilize a wild beast.
As the stereo spits sharp sounds played by the herd of rock and roll artists, the animals flock together in their excitement
While I am here, lonely in the wild, wishing I could be a part of the concert zoo.
