Gold teeth, Grey Goose, tripping in the bathroom, blood stains, ball gowns, trashing the hotel room, we don't care, we're driving Cadillacs in our dreams --Lorde

If you find your way uncertain
Or at your end the gate is barred
Think of all that helped to get you there
What it looked like from afar
For in that you'll find the reason
That lies also at the end
Of who you are and what you dream
And why you would not bend

If another holds your destiny
If you don't guide your lamp
Shall your spirit be unbroken
Through the coffin of a chance
When you gaze upon the river
As its journey finally ends
Remember all the water falls
Upon a distant land

If in the flame of long ago
A past hand holds your key
And you have tried the other doors
Just so you could see
If the stair you climbed was broken
If your flame no longer shone
But in the deepest darkness
You finally found a home

If your queen stands beckoning
With a single, white-robed hand
You vowed another way to go
Toward your promised land
Do you listen to your deepest fears
Choose from your knees to rule
Yourself your people and your crown
Or ask to play the fool

When you feel your calling
By the thunder in your bones
Know that I'll be there beside you
When you feel most alone
And when you see your reflection
In the path you did not take
Remember you can find yourself
Beneath the silver lake
