I am from
I am from dusty days, sunny days, the fun days
Where the wind blows and the sun sets
To the mountains, through the Pawnee I live in clarity
Simple as it can be
Days afield, in the sun, working by the time
Freezing nights and frosty mornings
Rainbows
After long days of the pelting rain
I am from the smell of wet grass
The crunch of the wet sage brush
Canoeing through floods
The maple paddle
Sunk deep into the clear cold water
The ripples searching for the shore
Seeing the sunrise through the morning haze from on a mountain
Seeing the sun set from the prairie
Waking to the sound of the meadow lark
I am from the gentle breeze
