Art? An Elizabethan Sonnet
Is art a thing you can taste, smell, or touch
Rated one to ten and pinned on a chart
Can it be mastered, learned, or even judged
Is art seen with our eyes or by our hearts
Is it measured in inches and on graphs
By the popularity that it brings
Can a pink painted tightroping giraffe
Compare to a song, dance, or woodcarving
Is quality or amount of time spent
More important than effort for a score
Should it be left up to the audience
Or to the masterpiece's creator
Based on colors, message, or usefulness
How do we even know when it's finished
