I can taste the rain
it's always raining
but I'm always dry
it's never ending
and I see it cry.
from my window
so far away
the rain falls slow
and the trees sway.
it's tears drip cold
like a dice, all chance
in my home, my mold
wrapped in ignorance.
warmth I caress
for peace I call
but the darkness
devours all.
the light is turmoil
the clouds roll along
in tumble and toil
they're twisted, all wrong.
wisps in the sky
so far from here
I don't see why
rain can't drench me.
it's always raining
I can taste the rain,
tears never pouring
but can't feel the pain.
