Our Love
She’s always there for me
Like a sister should be
Hearing me out
Without scream or shout
Of course we get in fights
But by daylight
Everything would be alright
Just like that, overnight
She’s my gift from above
Brother and sisterly love
There’s not a strong enough hit
To break it
She makes me do my best
To get above the rest
Not like life’s one big contest
But like she was my life vest
Whenever I’m in pain
Her help would never be in vein
My heart could be broken in half
And she could still make me laugh
She knows how to make me smile
More than once in a while
If you could measure our love it’d go way over a mile
Just as long as the Nile
So I wrote this poem
To show not all but just some
Of the love between us
And that’s it’s purpose
