Wrong and Right

What is this combination of syllables that I always hear?

The right I am rewarded for

The wrong brings punishment I fear

But what is wrong and what is right?

One is day and one is night.

The right is happy, just like a sunny day

All the troubles just melt away

The wrong is dark, just like night

Bringing out hatred and fright

A transformation made by Man

To mark the difference between can’t and can

But I learn from all wrongs, as I prosper from my right

Maybe neither one is dark and neither one is bright

The author's comments:
I was upset about how our society has set ways for people to follow. It stifles our creativity which can sometimes be expressed as 'mistakes'.

Excellent thoughts! Your use of rhyming adds a certain fluency to these intruiging ideas!

Chee, this poem is rather pensive. I like your usage of verbal contrast.
