Blank Dreams

January 23, 2008
By Jennifer Hautala, Ironwood, MI

the black ink runs
the tears fall
you look
you forget
you don't care
shes a lost memories
shes the girl you thought you knew
but, really no one knows her
she hides everything,
with a smile a cheap word
and maybe a quick lie to stop you from wondering
not even her friends know her
she doesn't explain,
and never will
she cries at night to know that maybe
Everything will be alright the next morning
she stays up all night to make sure that tomorrow is coming
and its not going to disappear into the
dark worlds atmosphere
you'll never get it
she'll never care
