Favorite Quote:
The man who does not read good books, has no advantage over the man who can not read at all.

Once again, here I am,
Chilling, while grooming my legs,
I see a woman making jam,
While her son sits and begs,
“But mama, why can’t I go outside?”
“Because it is wet and cold,”
The child, sad and denied,
Sat back, so his mother would not scold.
The jam is what caught my eye,
Oh how delicious it looks!
The boy, walking, trips over a random pie,
Aha! Oh, the lad is a schnook!
His mother goes to help the lad,
But leaves the jam alone,
I make my move and dart for it, I feel so bad,
Bad to the bone.
It’s such a ball,
To be a fly on the wall.

This piece I had to write for school. This was actually the second poem I have ever written. At first, poetry scared me. But then I thought, "Why not make something funny?" Because I am a naturally funny kind of gal.
