The Rain
Rain
A bright sunny day
Filled with delight
Can quickly fade away
Until nothing is bright
Suddenly it comes
To darken the sky
Its thunders like drums
As the heavens cry
It carries on forever
And the black sky remains
Even darker than ever
As it rolls down the windowpane
Just when it seems like it will never end
The last drop falls
And the clouds begin to bend
As the sunshine crawls
Suddenly it appears
To brighten the sky
The dull world clears
And birds start to fly
A blue lifeless day
That is dark as night
Can quickly fade away
Until everything is bright
