From the Heartbroken Ballerina
I'm turning to the music
because I can't turn to you
All the things that I once thought
 are disappearing from my view.

I want this dance to last forever
to just continue on and on
So I don't have to see your face
as I watch you move on.

This dance is so much better than you
This dance, it won't leave me.
I can leave and come back again
and know that it didn't deceive me.

As you slowly broke my heart,
 the Marley caught my fall
The music drowned out the phone
so I could easily ignore your call

 So don't start pretending
 that everything is okay.
 You did this to me
and you made me this way.

 Now all I have left
is this pair of broken shoes,
with a note that says, "you have my heart"
 and now I wonder, whose?
