Love and its effects

Love is blind, love is the essence of life,
All you need is a little bit of love,
Too much love can cut like a jagged knife,
Just the right amount brings peace like a dove.

True love is the only thing in life that's free,
Love is the light that shines through the lone night,
Love can only be felt, cannot be seen,
It is an attachment, out of plain sight.

Love is the language of a fluttered heart,
It is the smile on the face of God,
Without it, your soul is an empty part,
Absence of love can turn your spirit to sod.

Love makes you weak, like a boneless flounder,
Love is that moment, when you have found her.
