I find refuge in silence
True silence
When I am alone
Sealed from the world
For it is only in silence
That I am able to hear the screams
Of a dying world
For it is only in silence
That I can lay out my heart
On a silver platter and dissect it
For it is only in silence
That I can draw shades on the world
And turn my thoughts inward
Creating a deeper link with the essence
Of human life
Which is broken
But can be repaired
In silence
