As sad as bird without any wings
Cold as the night that the day brings
Pained sounds the robin as he sings
Happiness is bought by only the kings

In a tunnel of darkness is where I walk
Greatness’s for me are only just mock
I stand all alone not in pack or in flock
In comes sadness I have them it stock

Every day it’s like I walk through the rain
Thoroughly soaking wet, cold and, in pain
Powerless and beaten as a dragon been slain
Every day is a battle trying to stay sane

I can try and try with all my heart
Alas I do not know where to start
Behind every sweet there is a tart
Before I pick myself up I’ve fallen apart

I was inspired to write this piece because I could get out my feelings without shouting or "killing" someone
