Once Upon A Time

Once Upon a time,
I could take a bath with CLEAN water,
I wouldn’t stink, I’d smell fresher than toothpaste.
Once upon a time,
I didn’t have to beg for food,
Because I had all I needed to live.
Once upon a time,
I didn’t have to fight for my life, or my family’s, Because I knew we would be safe.
Once Upon a time
I could go outside without having to hold my breath. The air was better than it is now
Once upon a time,
I dreamed of me leaving my country.
Once Upon a time
I WAS FREE
