Drinkers

By
Drinker went out that night
Unaware of what would happen
Drinker was smart, had a lot of friends.
All his money went into his brand new Mercedes Benz.
That doesn’t matter anymore, now he’s in the pen
Drinker thought he had control, so he kept drinking

Drinker thought he could get home, he wasn’t thinking
The children were scared as his headlights hit theirs.
Scalding their skin, paralyzing their nerves
Drinker never thought that he’d be a murderer
Drinker took their lives
