Why oh why, do birds fly?
Why oh why, does gum pop?
Then why oh why, does love have to stop?
Your someone I loved from toddler to teens,
But with all that has happened
and all that I've seen, I can't change
Your ways, as hard as I try.
I know normal we will never be.
Why oh why, do I cry?
For you I cry, for what I've lost
and for what we had.
Everyone always says that the only
guy a girl can trust is her father.
What hurts me the most
is if that is true,
then I can't trust any guy-
not even you.
