I'll loan you my face

How do I explain,
My point of view?
Do I gouge my eyes out-
For them to see through?
Do I leave my body,
For them to replace,
Can I lend them my tears,
Or loan them my face?
Can they walk in my footsteps,
Should they borrow my skin,
Or sleep in my bed,
To be where I've been?
For my words don't reach,
And my actions are misunderstood,
Who can see my point of view-
Who would?
