Stage lights burning,
Applying make-up.
Having so much hairspray on your hair that it’s stiff.
Huffing and puffing when it’s done.
Scholarships and awards,
Happiness when you win.
It couldn’t get better
Than this.
Fear when you mess up,
Unless you know nobody saw.
Cheering friends on
Killing it on stage.
My favorite time of the year.
Every weekend. It’s so much fun!
