Nothing Like You
You kissed my head when I lost my game
You assured me that I was not to blame
We would get jealous of all the others
For the scare of losing one another
We would curse, scream, and yell into a fight
Then you’d always come and hold me tight
Your only job was to make me smile
You said the time with me was worth while
You held me when my world was crashing down
You restored my heart up from off of the ground
You took me in when there was no one else
You taught me how to learn to love myself
We planned the future with each other
When I came upon you with another
You ripped my heart right from my chest
You swore to me that this was for the best
Now I am with someone new
And he is nothing like you
