I'm from the Islands
I take heaps of pride
Kiss the sand
Where my ancestors died
I pray to them
And ask them why
How am I lucky
To endure such the life
The palms are my blanket
My pillow, the sky
The ocean my home
As to where I will die

love it! really interesting.

has a certain feel to it that i like, and the lines are all a perfect length so it isnt awkward or run on.
