If Lip Gloss Could Talk

If lip gloss could talk what would it say?
Would it say, “I don’t like to be used this way!”
Would it like like to be in the store all day?
Waiting for its owner to come pay.
Would it cry in my pocket, because it is
stuck there all day, or would it be glad
to be out of harms way?
Would it hope to be used each day as I
put my make up on and use my hairspray?
Would it say smell me as it is on display?
But at the end of the day, as we all go on our way would it say, “Hey you forgot me!”
