Blissful Blue

I look down below as my rays shine,
At all the smiling faces, having a nice time.
It’s nice to know,
I’m what makes the day glow,
As dogs run, cats play, and children grow.
I watch the swans swim and smile with delight,
My heart feels as warm as my sunlight.
The birds are chirping, singing all around me,
The day seems so perfect, as I knew it would be,
For when I rose up this morning, above it all,
I decided to stand here in the sky, nice and tall,
Over the families and friends, I’ll look down to you,
As I’m surrounded with nothing, except for blue.
