Before - but not known when -
There was - but not known where -
A brotherhood, whose title - we defend
That I need not share.

They - well, they had been born,
And so they had been given life;
Their age - forbiddingly sworn -
Was young and ripe.

They lived - how many days
Far more than I can count;
However a true fact stays
They lived - until time ran out.

'Time ran out,' I have concern
But cannot worry so,
But they had learned,
At any rate, we know.
