Day after Day
It seems day after I day I fall again,
 I tear out my heart for more than a friend.
 And I'm left askin myself will there be an end?
 Maybe someday, but I won't hold my breath.
 
 I misread signals like they're morse code,
 I make false assumptions that bring it home.
 It rips and pulls and I end up alone, 
 Sittin and waitin to answer the phone.
 
 No one calls but still I wait,
 Being alone may be my fate.
 I've dug my grave and marked the date,
 Decomposing in my same old way.
 
 I look for love and no ones there,
 I ask for help and no one cares.
 Why do I feel so bare?
 So far away but I feel so near...
