Minutes Well Spent
March 14, 2011
Never had it occurred to me
before I saw it,
but there it was.
Brilliant, extraordinary, exquisite, and hiding
behind the veil of my own eyes.
So I took a minute
and then another
to discover what it meant.
Though, I understood only what it lent;
purpose obscured to my gaze.
After minutes passed,
I still could not accept
that was it.
It radiated so much more,
it seemed,
then what it presented.
So I took another minute
and came to no conclusion.
