I didn’t know what to do
I was lost and confused
Everything was so hard to see through

I felt like I was falling
And nobody was there to catch me
I was hiding my tears
I didn’t want anyone to get close to me

I felt like I was losing all I had left
All I wanted was to talk to you
Just to hear you say I love you
But I knew you missed me too

The days felt like years
And all I could do was wait
I didn’t know which way to go
Everything I did felt like a debate

I just wanted someone to talk to
Someone that would help me through it
So I started talking to this guy
I didn’t know he would want to commit

We started to see each other everyday
And even though I always talked about you
He started to fall for me
I had no idea what to do

I told him I loved you
But he said he would wait forever
Then he tried to kiss me
And I said I would never

He started taking my mind off of you
It felt great for awhile
I wasn’t sad and lonely
I could finally smile



That’s when I lost it
I let him kiss me, and I didn’t even pull away
Now I spend my days living with regret
And sorry is the only thing I can say

I wish I could take it all back
But you can’t change the past
It should have never happened
And I wish I could say we would last

It’s to late for that
You say you want to move on
I said I would be happy for you
But it’s hard to accept it now that your gone

I guess with time I will learn to let go
