Quietly dancing,
A butterfly floats
above a patch of
swaying sunflowers.
While a bird hums a
melody nearby.
In the distance water falls
creating a beat for all to follow.
The sun rises.
Creating a backdrop
no artist
can recreate.
Bringing this show
to life.
The wind whispers a
quite song. Telling all
who will listen.
The
simplest
things in life
have the
greatest worth.
In the middle
of this,
I sit,
watching
Mother Nature
reveal
her masterpiece.
