Too Icy to Play...

Silver rain
On my window pane

It’s freezing outside
The rain turns to ice

I wish it were summer
The cold is a bummer

I wish I could play
In that warm summer rain

The author's comments:

It's the first of a few in a series actually. I adore playing in warm, gloomy rainy days and absolutely despise the cold. I was inspired by a cold front that blew in after the rain the other day. Ugh..dreadful. Anyway, I usually tend to enjoy even my own poetry when I have finished a piece. I hope that you'll enjoy this one too. :)
