No Longer...
do I have you to pick out my clothes
nor to tie my shoes
No Longer to i have you to remind me to brush my teeth
nor to brush my hair
No Longer do I have you to tuck me in, tell me bed times stories
or to check for the monsters in my closet
No Longer is breakfast made every single morning
nor is my lunch or snacks packed
for a fun day at school
No Longer do i have you to stand up for me when sis is picking on me
nor do i ave you telling me "STOP DOING THAT"
No Longer am i handed money just to go to the movies
nor do you buy my clothes
No Longer am i ready to give that all up
nor am i ready to grow up
