What Do You Look Like?
What do you look like?
I wanna know.
But not because I love you,
At least not anymore.
You’re a traitor not a father
A hater not a lover
You left my mother
For another
Was I the reason?
That you left us
Didn’t meet your standards
Ya got a girl
But you wanted a boy
Always wanted to know
Who you are and were
Though now I am not very sure
The thought of you
Makes me mad
I dare not ever call you a dad
Never there for me
Did you ever care?
Why would you
I was the mistake
That ruined your life
You’re a traitor not a father
A hater not a lover
You left my mother
For another
Well this isn’t about you
Not anymore
You won’t hold me back
Be my closed door
I have opened the door
To the right path and I’m heading down it
Never looking back
What do you look like?
I wanna know.
But not because I love you,
At least not anymore.
