Small Brother
He lies in that hospital bed all weak and feeble
The smell of death all around him
He had just hit puberty and he is no way in hell near ready for this
He’s scared out of his damn mind
Tears run down his eyes in a steady stream
 He can’t help but cry
His mother holding him in her arms crying softly
His brother sitting on his bed praying softly
His father holding his hand staring into his deep brown eyes
His close cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends circle around him staring deep into his pain
The idea of them having to see him suffer like this kills them deep inside
They tear up, let one, only ONE tear fall and walk out
His mother and brother and father sit at his bedside crying and reminiscing
About the days he and his brother would get in trouble and fight and argue
The good old days they called it
But his time is up; no more will he have to suffer
The REAPER is here, ready to swing his scythe and take this child away from this pain
He says one last thing before he goes
I love you, I LOVE YOU MOM, DAD, and BIG BROTHER, take care and repair
He looks at his family for the last time and shuts his big brown eyes forever
