The Turtle

There was a little turtle
Who walked really slowly.
His little short legs had many places to go.
With humorous little eyes he looked at me,
Scratched his hard little nails on a tree
And opened his sharp beak to say bye bye.
His hard shell made a little splash as he dove into the water.
