My Love

June 13, 2008
By Jordan Camarillo, Beverly, OH

As the tears fall from my heart,
I think of the time passed together.
You use to understand me as I understood you.
We laughed together,
And we cried together.
Now that you are gone,
Even my soul cries out.
Death is such a burden,
But to you I'm glad it was not,
I did not want you to suffer.
Sometimes I think you are around every corner,
Even though you are gone.
I remember your smile as if it were a movie playing in my head.
When you died,
You took part of me with you.
People say to forget you,
But that would hurt too much.
So you see, My Love,
I have to say goodbye,
But I will not forget you.
