Tears that did not fall
Words that I did not say
Thoughts that did not form
Way me down in my own despair
I can not move
I can not see
I can not speak
The tears blind me
The words choke me
The thoughts hold me
I can not escape
The music can not reach me
Because I can not hear it
Stories that once were my saving grace
no longer council me
For I can not read them
Warmth can not reach me
for i am frozen
in a blizzard of my own creating
I sink further into my thoughts
and create a world where nothing
can touch me, and while i try
to escape
I will not let the tears fall.
