Never Fulfilled

Decent men are hard to find
Good men are a blue moon away

The sadest case of lonliness
Was washed in dirty acid
The strongest case of love
Was drowned in marriage

Running from the ones
Striving, living, hunting
Breaking me down and
Loving every moment

No one can seem to
Find the truth in my lies

Better yet even who
Can see the tears
Unshed pouring
In my hearts eye

What's left in all this?
Pigmy sized hopes
Slews of promises
Never fulfilled

What's gone is
Your dignity on
Your breath and
The stench left
Reeking from
A party worn on
Your sleeve

Even those who beg
Are lost in tellings
Of what to do

Bewildered I'm lost
In the idea of a
Warmth so great to
Make me forget
Grey clouds
Salty waters

Slew your game
Somewhere else

This piece is tired
Of being forced
By games of their
Own selfish will

I'm done being played with.

Wow! Very intense - the best of all three for me. Great descriptions. Good direction of anger.
