Somebody once asked me “what’s your greatest talent?”
“I mean Tommy can act, Jenny can paint but what can you do?”
I took a deep breath and replied…
I can make people listen.
I can make people understand.
I can make people believe in themselves more than they ever thought they could.
I can make someone go from crying to laughing in a matter of minutes;
I can make an entire cafeteria be silent and respect what I have to say only to go back their conversation when I’m done talking.
I can make people heed my warning and live my advice
Repeat the words I have said in order to justify their actions.
I can make people see themselves versus seeing the mask they hide behind each day,
So no I can’t act or paint, for my talent is people.
